Some might call me a natural foodie or a cake bake junkie, but for me it’s just part of sharing life!  Think about it: the best moments in life are celebrated with cakes: birthdays, new beginnings, baby showers, anniversaries, Christmas, weddings or simply the surrender to indulge in the goodness of a sweet treat. 

 

One of my best childhood memories is smelling that something sweet baking in the oven when I came home from school.  It was the heartbeat of our house. From there my love and passion for baking grew as I spent the years helping in the kitchen (and perhaps binge watching on Master Chef and Cake Boss)! I was so passionate to try new things, learn the tricks, dabble in different tastes and creating beautiful yummy cakes. It was only natural that baking became my gift to others.

A dear friend of mine started ordering kiddies birthday cakes from me and after every cake was gobbled up with much delight (and a promise to come back for more) the idea of my own home bakery started taking shape.

The dream was always there and my friends kept on asking: WHEN...

So, after much consideration, planning and carefully getting the mix right: Laufs Bakes is finally here! My Home Bakery.
